Core System Components

This plastic pipe prepaid water meter system forms a complete ecosystem with four key parts:
Smart Water Meter: Available in velocity, volumetric, and ultrasonic versions, it comes with an LCD display and integrated LoRa/LoRaWAN wireless modules. It meets the international STS standard IEC62055-41,51, enabling remote recharge and data query.
Split CIU: The Customer Interface Unit (CIU) is used for meter recharge and data checking. Equipped with a touchable LCD keypad (English display) and LoRa/LoRaWAN modules (same as the meter), it enables RF wireless communication with a programmable distance of 100-200m in residential areas.
HDMS Platform: The Hardware & Digital Billing Management System (HDMS) handles water vending, real-time monitoring of meter status, data storage, and statistical analysis, providing a one-stop back end management solution.
Mobile Vending Solution: Integrated with local e-payment platforms and banks, it allows water sales via POS terminals or mobile phones, enabling users to complete payments anytime, anywhere.
Installation Instructions
Pre-Installation
Env: -10℃-55℃, RH ≤100%, no strong magnetic fields/vibration/waterlogging.
Equip: Check undamaged meter (DN15/20/25, brass/plastic), Er2650 battery, CIU; pipeline pressure ≤1.6Mpa.
Meter Installation
Prep pipeline: Turn off valve, drain, clean.
Install: Align flow direction, use gaskets, keep horizontal (deviation ≤5%); fit Er2650 for IP68.
CIU Setup
Place 100-200m from meter (0℃-50℃).
Power (5V adapter/4 AAA batteries), pair till LED stays on.
Post-Install Test
Check for leaks; test CIU (data query, 20-digit token recharge, auto valve).
