This single phase din rail prepaid energy meter designed in accordance with IEC standard for active energy class 1.0 and reactive energy class 2.0. It is also measures the instantaneous values of voltage, current, power, frequency, etc. This meter possesses functions of active and reactive energy measurement, maximum demand, event log,load profile daily and monthly data frozen and LED indication, relay control, communication with optical port and PLC module, which is an ideal meter type for utilities.

Core Functions
The following are the main functions of this single phase din rail prepaid energy meter.
1.Energy Register
This meter is capable of measuring both active and reactive (optional).
2.Instantaneous values
For power grid quality monitoring, the meter can output instant values of Voltage,Current,Frequency, Power, etc.The real values are measured in each second.Meanwhile meter can output average values, lowest and highest values also, the period is in 60 minutes as default.
3.Prepayment Function
User can recharge through CIU.User also can query the date of the last recharge, charge value, and recharge token.The meter records the last 50 valid tokens recently recharged.
4.Max Demand
The Max Demands measuring period is 15 minutes as default in block type.
5.RTC
The microchip has a hardware support RTC clock, it is independent running with the MCU. The RTC can work normal itself while it has power. The RTC calendarrange is from the year 2000 to 2099.
6.Billing function
Billing function includes monthly billing and daily billing.There are 13 months monthly data and 7 days daily data.The data includes: History Energy and MD.
7.Load Control
Overload threshold is configurable. When the power exceeds the overload threshold for a delay time, meter will bee disconnect the relay.
8.Event Log
Meter records various events according to characteristics: power quality event, relay control event,fraud detection events and standard event, the event record including event occurring time, ending time, occurring counts, and accumulated time (in minutes). Each event can be recorded in recent 100pieces.
9.TOU Tariff(Optional)
There are 4 tariffs (T1, T2, T3, T4) which can be selected per day, and the meter have maximum 8-daytables, 6 weeks,12 seasons, 100 holidays which can be programmed to meter.
Communication & Power Supply
Communication Ports:3 ports including optical port (complies with IEC62056-21, DLMS Mode E, 300/9600bps), PLC (communicates with CIU), and optional MC171 (reads data when powered off)
Battery:1200mAh lithium battery; powers RTC and cover-open record when powered off; average current: <2μA (power-on), <20μA (power-off)
Installation
Installs on stable, fire-proof panel in dry, ventilated environment; follows connection diagram for correct wiring.
