The single phase metal base energy meter is a traditional electricity metering device, which was once widely used in residential households, small commercial shops, and low-power single-phase electrical scenarios. Characterized by its cast iron base and transparent glass cover, it belongs to the classic representative of early electricity metering equipment.

Function and Features
-Measure active electric energy, do not need calibrate for long-term operation;
-Long service life, accessible 10 years;
-Sampling current at the same time between phase line and middle line, use the larger as valid sampling, abstraction-of-electricity prevention one fire one ground thoroughly;
-Adopt exclusive use LSl and SMT surface fixing technique, having advance technology and simple structure;
- Adopt the latest oversea electric energy special integration circuit, greatly improved dynamic working range of Meter,
-Have good mistake linearity in the range of 5%lb~lmax;
-Adopt high reliability and long life electronic component, so the Meter assume feature of high reliability and long life;
-Low self power consumption, mighty overload.

Core Structure
Iron Base: Made of high-quality cast iron material, it has strong load-bearing capacity and stability.The cast iron material has good impact resistance and tamper-proof performance, which can protect the internal parts from external damage
Glass Cover: Adopts high-transparency tempered glass, which has good light transmittance.
Working Principle
The iron-base glass-cover single-phase energy meter operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction: The current coil and voltage coil generate alternating magnetic fields respectively, which interact to form a rotating magnetic field that drives the aluminum disc to rotate. The disc's rotation speed is proportional to the active power of the circuit, and through a gear mechanism, it is converted into dial counting, ultimately displaying cumulative electricity consumption (unit: kWh).
