1.Power Bearing Capacity
Generally speaking, the rated current of a single phase 2P meter ranges from 5A to 60A, while the rated current of a single phase 4P digital din rail meter can reach 80A or even 100A. Therefore, the 4P meter can bear a relatively larger power.
2.Applicable Scenarios
The 4P meter is suitable for high-power, high-safety scenarios (e.g., commercial stores, rental houses); the 2P meter is more suitable for medium/low-power, simple scenarios (e.g., home basic circuits, small lighting loops).
3.Anti-tampering Performance
The 4P meter has a sealed full-pole structure, which reduces the risk of metering tampering (e.g., neutral wire bypass); the 2P meter has no neutral wire access, making it easier to tamper with via external neutral wire connections.
